New Year – New Projects I – OP TAC

At the beginning of the year, TOPTEC became involved in a new project titled PILOT for UAV – Polarisation IR Observation Instrument for UAV, registration number CZ.01.01.01/01/24_063/0006843.

The project was supported under a public call announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic as part of the implementation of the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness 2021–2027 (OP TAC), Applications DEEP TECH – Call III.

The project focuses on the development and application of an LWIR polarization camera optimized for integration with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Its aim is to deliver an innovative imaging system using unique polarization optics based on calomel crystals, enabling advanced remote sensing and material analysis capabilities.

We are cooperating on the project with BBT-MATERIALS PROCESSING s.r.o. and the Czech Technical University in Prague.
