In January, the project "Understanding optical coating on micro- and macro-scale via metal-layer-amplified secondharmonic generation" under registration number 25-17822S was launched.
The goal of the project is to optimize the process of applying thin films to improve mechanical properties and functional parameters. This will achieve higher-quality optical coatings for a wide range of applications, such as thin films in high-performance lasers, optical systems with low light scattering, and optics resistant to reactive environments.
The planned duration of the project is 3 years.
