New OP TAC Project – AMON

TOPTEC is involved in a new project titled AMON: Industrial Application of Micro- and Nanostructured Surfaces with Antimicrobial, Mechanical, and Optical Properties, registration number CZ.01.01.01/01/24_063/0006935.

The project was supported under a public call announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic as part of the implementation of the Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness 2021–2027 (OP TAC), Applications DEEP TECH – Call III.

The project focuses on the development of technologies for the industrial production of micro- and nanostructured surfaces with antimicrobial functionality and controlled visual appearance. Its aim is to create and verify techniques for producing and replicating functional relief structures that will enable their use in the industrial manufacture of commonly used materials, particularly plastics and glass, while minimizing the additional costs associated with functional structuring.

The project is carried out in cooperation with major partners: IQS Group, a.s., the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the Faculty of Science, Charles University.
