Financial Support for a New Project

We would like to announce that the project Research and Development of Innovative LiDAR Technologies for Enhancing Air Transport Safety (FW10010248) has received support from the TREND programme.

Within this project we cooperate with Honeywell International s.r.o., asphericon s.r.o. and the Institute of Instrumentation of the CAS, v.v.i.

The aim of the project is to develop a new generation of innovative aerometric avionics for modern aircraft types based on LiDAR technology. This unit will be used for aerometric data measurements within the primary flight data system (Air-Data Computer), and combines several innovative solutions from photonics, fine opto-mechanics, electronics, and UV laser technology.

This project is co-funded with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the TREND Programme and EU funding under the National Recovery Plan.
